Admission of investment bids for creating broiler economies announced in Azerbaijan

The Azerbaijan National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support (ANFES) at the   Ministry of Economic Development announced admission of bids to finance projects on organizing chicken production, broiler economies or their reconstruction through applying advanced technologies under the State Program on reliable food supply in 2008-2015, the Ministry announced.

Investment bids are accepted from all economic districts of Azerbaijan, excluding Baku.

Investment projects should meet the following parameters: investment project should envisage manufacturing chicken and establishing broiler economies, meeting the advanced standards and applying the modern technologies; territory selected under the economy should be available for infrastructure; economy should be should be equipped advanced technologies, and has laboratory, cutting workshop, mills for forage and incubators.

With regard to meet demand for forage it is necessary to achieve an agreement with forage manufacturers.

An investment project should be implemented in optimal terms. As minimum 30 percent of the cost of investment bid should be financed through the funds of business subjects and the rest through ADNES funds.

The Azerbaijan Investment Company or its subsidiary will participate in financing an investment project on the basis of relevant agreement.

Business subjects should preliminarily appeal to ANFES authorized credit organizations for financing. In case the credit organizations take positive decision on financing the investment project, it must be submitted to the ANFES by 18:00 June 16, 2010.

The investment bids will be unsealed at the ANFES June 17, 2010 at 12:00.

A decision on financing the selected projects by the National Fund will be announced July 2, 2010, at 12:00.
