Britain intends to expand the constructive dialogue with Turkmenistan, across the spectrum - Prince Andrew

Britain intends to expand the constructive dialogue with Turkmenistan on the entire range of interstate cooperation, said Prince Andrew, Duke of York in Ashgabat.

UK's Special Representative for International Trade and Investment discussed this during his meeting with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, press service of the Turkmen government reported.

Words of welcome from Queen Elizabeth II and members of the royal family  were sent to Turkmen leader.

"The enormous potential of Turkmenistan and its rapid economic growth led to strong interest in British business to work more closely, full cooperation with the Turkmen partners", - said Prince Andrew, naming cooperation in trade and oil and gas sector as priority .

Turkmenistan attaches great importance to cooperation with Britain and ready to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation ", - noted Berdimuhamedov.

Companies such as Dragon Oil, Burren Energy are currently persented in Turkmen market. British Petroleum, Vitol and others expressed their interest in cooperation.
