ASTANA, Kazakhstan, November 11. The opening
ceremony of the "Shaanxi Baosheng Silk Road Construction
Engineering" office, an independent partner of Kazakh Invest in
China, has taken place in the Chinese city of Xi'an, Trend reports.
A Chinese company has opened a representative office as part of a
cooperation agreement with Kazakh Invest. The representative office
will assist in establishing close business ties with Chinese
organizations to attract foreign direct investments and promote
Kazakhstan's investment opportunities. To achieve these goals,
Shaanxi Baosheng will help organize various investment events and
bilateral visits of Chinese companies to Kazakhstan.
During the event, the Chairman of the Board of Kazakh Invest, Yerzhan Elemekeev, presented information to the participants about the investment climate in Kazakhstan and the government support measures. More than 100 companies from Shaanxi Province and surrounding regions took part in the event.
Additionally, as part of the opening ceremony, the Chairman of the Board held his first meetings with several Chinese investors. Among them were Auto Time, a subsidiary of the Foton Motor automotive brand, interested in the production of light trucks in Kazakhstan; INTLEF Oil and Gas Group, a manufacturer of oil and gas equipment; and Xi'an Guoli Defense Technology Group, a producer of wheeled and tracked military vehicles. Meetings were also held with representatives of Chengdu Bangyuda Technology Group, Qingdao Lulu Agricultural Equipment, and Shaanxi Leishen Intelligent Equipment.
The opening of the Shaanxi Baosheng representative office will help strengthen the growing economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and China. The primary goal of the new office is to ensure direct and effective communication between Chinese investors and Kazakhstani enterprises, as well as provide comprehensive support.
