(dpa) - German airline Lufthansa AG predicted on Monday further consolidation and mergers in the international aviation industry.
"I believe there will be consolidation moves in the US and Europe," said Lufthansa chief Wolfgang Mayrhuber.
Speaking in Berlin, Mayrhuber said Lufthansa wanted to play an active role in any consolidation process with the airline having had a good start to the 2008 business year.
