The agreement on construction of oil refinery was signed between consortium of Chinese companies and Iranian national oil refinery company NIOPDC. Purpose of the contract is to develop oil refinery Abadan in Abadan city and construction of two new plants in Sitare plant in the Persian Gulf, Trend said with reference to MEHR agency.
Cost of the contract hits $2-3 billion. Daily oil processing will increase 210,000 barrels since development of Abadan plant. Total daily volume of oil processing will hit 360,000 barrel in the plant.
Daily volume of petroleum production will hit 35 million liters, sulfur - 130 tons, aviation fuel - 3 million liters, liquefied gas - 2 million liters as a result of oil processing increased up to 360,000 barrel per day in the plant Sitare.
