The volume of gasoline consumption in Iran amounted to 839.7 million liters in the first half of August compared to 970 million liters during the similar period of last year, the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company said.
The volume of kerosene consumption was 110.85 million liters compared to 146 million liters, diesel fuel - over 837 million liters compared to 743.3 million liters, gas oil - over 1.509 billion liters compared to 1.52 billion liters in the first half of August last year.
Volume of LPG consumption in the first half of August amounted to over 91,000 tons compared to the second half of July this year.
Iranian population, industrial enterprises, commercial facilities and power plants consumed gas to the amount of over 5.38 billion cubic meters in the first half of August compared to over 5.4 billion during the same period of last year.
