Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / On 1 August, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan received and confirmed the copy of the decision of the Paris Court of High Instance (Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris) made on 5 July 2007. The Ministry states that the decision of the Court once again testifies of the groundlessness of the lawsuit by the Maltese FimBank against Azerbaijan.
The Department Chief of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan, Bakhtiyar Mammadov, said that the decision annulled the previous decision made by the same Court on arresting the shares of the Azerbaijani company. In addition, the Court made a decision on payment of €2,000 by FimBank to the Ministry.
